A man who sprung two middle-aged woman in the act of swiping his family's gear at New Smyrna Beach in Florida couldn't believe what he heard when an interaction with the would-be thieves made perfect viral video material.
The man, who spoke to Gawker and wishes to be identified only as Rick, says he returned with his wife and sons to his father's place a block from the beach on the July 4 weekend and had planned to leave their canopy and beach toys unattended for a moment.
Back at the house, Rick says his father suggested that he might want to check on their stuff, prompting Rick to walk back to the beach alone.
There became worried as he couldn't spot the beach canopy at first, but then noticed the two struggling to collapse the large sunshade he had left behind. At this moment he began filming.
What followed was in awkward conversation in which Rick asks the women if the items belong to them (they respond in the affirmative) and if they need help. The women brazenly maintain the act until Rick calls them out, pointing out that he is in fact the owner of the items the pair would take for themselves.
After telling him to stop filming, the woman in red then gnashed her teeth and lunged at him yelling "I'll grab your d*ck," his description of events claims.
Eventually the women left. Rick sent the video to his wife and sister without a message. They panicked and called the police.
Rick later told a Beach Patrol Officer not to bother filing a report as neither his penis mpr anything else was actually harmed, except for maybe the dignity of the two women, whose faces have now been seen millions of times all over the web. Way to go!
