Westchester County Police have arrested a Pennsylvania man for animal cruelty after he was caught abusing a 10-week-old kitten Sunday.
24-year-old James Myers, allegedly drugged his kitten and abused him outside his car off of Dunwoody Drive near Phoenixville Pike.
Police say they saw Myers choke his kitten and throw him to the ground, knocking the animal’s teeth knocked out.
The confiscated two dozen bags of heroin, 50 hypodermic needles and discovered hundreds of used dope bags.
Once they realized the cat was overdosed on heroin they rushed the animal over to a nearby animal hospital where they revived him.
Myer’s faces a slew of charges including a $25,000 bail. Authorities say the cat is currently alive and recovering.
