Gender is an increasingly fluid concept in this modern world, and more fluid still for certain people.
Xiao Zhou, a strapping young lady from Xuzhou, China, has been plagued by feminine insecurity ever since she was 13 because of her increasingly masculine looks. She was just like all the other girls when she was little, but around age 13 her voice started changing deeper. She achieved a high level of body hair and successfully grew an adam’s apple. Her period has been irregular. Without especially trying, she managed to resemble a teenaged boy, right down to her 3cm wang.
Undeterred, Xiao Zhou still got married and went to hospital because she wanted to have a child. The doctor found the cause of her abundant collection of gender traits was her parents' intermarriage. That is, they kept a bit too much in the family, giving Xiao Zhou too much androgen secretion, with the result that she’s developed some physically male characteristics. Now Xiao Zhou takes hormone therapy and hopes to refund her unwanted masculine endowment.
