Apple’s iPhone is known for its high quality production standards, but is Apple starting to slip?
A woman from China’s Hunan Province, claims that her iPhone burnt her face and left her with fugly scars. She said that she was having a long conversation with her boyfriend last July when she felt her cell phone getting very hot. It felt a bit uncomfortable on her face but she ignored it and kept talking. Later she held an ice-pack to her face.
She said that she only noticed the burn on the left side of her face when her colleague pointed it out. So she went to a clinic and the doctor gave her some ointment and told her if it doesn’t work, she will have to see a specialist. However, the burn didn’t get any better after a few days treatment. So, she went to the hospital where she was told that she had received an electrical burn.
She was very unhappy about it and called Apple customer service in China about the incident. She was told by Apple that they will look into it, but she still hasn’t received a response.
