This Chinese white dolphin was found yesterday washed up on the coast in Hong Kong. This dead dolphin is 2.5 metres long.
It was was so badly decomposed that its organs were bursting out of its body due to gas. Experts believe it was dead for a while before washing up, so the dolphin’s corpse was sent to cetacean biologists for investigation.
This is the 36th dead dolphin found on Hong Kong’s coast this year. The reason behind the dolphin die-off is still unknown.
