For "Not so Simple Drums solo" : I've filmed it during a concert. And then, I added my drumming on the original video !
I can say it was a really good exercise for me to pick up the original drums solo, mostly note for note. Here I tried to play almost 90% of it. I've missed some stuffs, because, It's hard to play on a electronic drum kit : The dynamics and the accuracy are different : Mostly for the cymbals ! This is definitely not the same thing than an acoustic drum-kit ! It was challenging for me : I can't play with my feet at this speed. So, I played the solo in two parts : The drums and then, the cymbal and the kick drum etc. Finally, the result is nice. I would like to give a Big Up to all the musicians of GROUNDATION. I mean for me listening and playing to their music has learnt me a lot ! Sometimes, more than all my music classes. I'm grateful !
