Guatemalan Vice President Roxana Baldetti handed her resignation to Congress on Friday after being accused of participating in a major corruption scandal. She and 24 other high-ranking civil servants are accused of participating in a large-scale fraud for allegedly receiving bribes in exchange for lowering taxes on imported goods.
