As the Colombian peace talks advance in Havana, victims of the country's five-decade armed conflict hope to receive reparations. The number of victims has reached a staggering six million, and in the past three years 500,000 of them have received compensation from the government's Victims Assistance Unit. Providing assistance and compensation to the victims contributes to establish a lasting peace, which involves more than just ending the conflict. Victims say that all sides involved accepting their responsibility is essential for reconciliation to proceed. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota.
