Cradle of Filth's first album was actually supposed to be Goetia, but it was never released due to funding problems and the eventual shutdown of the label. The original studio tapes have been erased. Other than this, not much else is known about it, and the band has not talked about it in over a decade, until the official re-release of the Total Fucking Darkness demo in 2014, which includes the only surviving track of the Goetia sessions, "Spattered in Faeces".
