Ahmedabad: Civil Pediatric Medicine Assistant Professor Charul Purani said, "These cases are rare, one in a few lakhs. Their eldest child is normal. But the other three kids started piling weight as they turned one. Different branches of medicine are trying to find out the cause of their weight-gain. We have roped in radiologists, ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, pulmonologists and several other experts who are collectively working to diagnose the cause."
