In primary elections held in Buenos Aires, candidates backed by the conservative PRO party of Mauricio Macri came out ahead, as expected. In results from 2/3 of the polling stations, the two candidates of the opposition party together took nearly 48% of the vote, while there was a slight rise in votes cast for smaller leftist parties. teleSUR
