The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain demanded the establishment and the authorities to respect MQM’s mandate and should accept Mohajirs as patriotic Pakistani.
Talking to the participants of Jinnah ground and other places who gathered to celebrate victory in by-election and Cantonment Board’s elections, the MQM Chief directed MQM MPAs to actively participate in provincial Assembly sessions and raise voice to resolve people’s issues. He also directed the Coordination Committee to begin membership campaign throughout the country, especially in Sindh.
Mr. Hussain said that the parties, which had local and foreign supports, were badly defeated and such forces wanted those parties to win in the by-elections but Allah rewarded MQM to be victorious in spite of all the media trials and false allegations posted on MQM. He said that MQM secured unprecedented victory and made the history in the Cantonment Boards’ elections.
He said that the projects of MQM’s Parliamentarians for people’s welfare always stuck because of red tape culture. He urged the Parliamentarians to contact Chief Minister Sindh or Governor Sindh, if they had any problem to resolve people’s issues and should go for legal action for not taking any action.
