Dramatic footage shows avalanche hitting Everest base camp

A wall of snow engulfs the Mount Everest base camp as an avalanche strikes in the wake of Nepal's worst earthquake in eight decades.
At least 17 people are known to have died at the camp, and rescue operations there continue.
