Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure for women who want to enhance the size of their breasts. Augmentation can be performed using different techniques. Most commonly an implant is used to add size to the breast. The implant can be filled with saline (salt water) or more commonly, silicone gel. Some patients are good candidates for a different type of breast augmentation technique, where fat is removed from unwanted areas of the body using liposuction and is then transferred to the breasts.

During your consultation with Dr. Hayes, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your goals. He’ll ask you about the look that you want to achieve. While at your visit you’ll be able to try on implants to see which size you like. Together with Dr. Hayes, an implant is selected that achieves your goals and fits your body.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia in a state-of-the-art Medicare certified operating room. You’re cared for by board-certified physician anesthesiologists from Swedish Hospital’s anesthesia group.
After the surgery Dr. Hayes stays in close contact with each patient to make sure that he’s available to answer any questions that may arise. Most patients can go out of the house the night of the surgery and are well on their way to beginning the recovery process and enjoying their new look.
