New England Patriots left tackle Nate Solder says he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in April 2014. Solder revealed the news to ESPN to raise awareness, as April is National Testicular Awareness month. Despite the diagnosis, the left tackle only missed two weeks of New England’s OTAs last offseason. Solder played all 16 regular season games with the Patriots in 2014 and helped lead the organization to their fourth Super Bowl title.
