Despite low international oil prices that affect its revenue, the Venezuelan government has continued its commitment to maintain the country's exemplary social programs in health, education, and housing, among many other fields. The Housing Program has just delivered its 700,000th home and authorities plan to maintain the pace of construction to reach the 1 million mark by the end of the year. Over US$73 billion has already been invested in the program. The goal is to build and deliver the keys to 3 million homes by 2019.
