A 2-year-old boy is in stable condition after falling into the cheetah exhibit at Cleveland The child suffered a leg injury, according to officials. Christopher Kuhar, executive director for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, said the child's parents quickly went into the exhibit to get the child after the fall. The cheetahs made no attempt to interact with the child or the child's parents. "Unfortunately we have a number of eyewitness accounts that point to the strong likelihood that the child was dangled over the railing," Kuhar added. Cleveland Fire Department spokesperson Larry Gray told newsnet5.com the mother was holding two children near the pit when the 2-year-old boy fell inside.
