Hungarian Academy Cadets in WWII
I am doing research on a group of Hungarian Academy Cadets during WWII who left their school during the fall of 1944 and traveled via train and horseback from the school in Hungary to Presto (sp?) in Denmark where they remained for the duration. One of these cadets was my father. I know very little as all I have is his diary I found after his death. I'm trying to understand what would drive them to leave and travel to Denmark. Anyone with some insight?
