Peru: Corruption Investigation Commission Presents Report

The commission investigating corruption during the term of former Peruvian president Alan Garcia presented its report to Congress. Three of the five of its conclusions were approved, including on the illicit enrichment of Luis Navas, former secretary general to Garcia, and irregularities in the sale of a state-run airstrip below market price to a construction company that worked extensively for the former president. The Commission also reported on four other corruption cases and findings on two additional cases are being prepared. Rael Mora reports from Lima, teleSUR
