One family has never been so thankful for glass.
A seemingly normal family outing at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska turned into a reality check after a Silverback Gorilla violently attacked the barrier glass, separating the exhibit from the visitors.
Moments before the attack, a young girl can be seen beating her chest in the reflection of the glass, which may have provoked the gorilla.
"Don't do that," a young boy says. But it's too late — the gorilla starts to run towards the glass where two adults were standing and filming the animals. The force of the gorilla's punch was so strong that it broke the glass barrier.
According to the original Reddit post, the gorilla had showed signs of aggression before the attack.
