Ecuador's President Rafael Correa canceled a lunch and speaking engagement yesterday after receiving a death threat deemed to be credible. Correa was visiting a community north of Quito when the local mayor received a text message threatening to kill him along with the President. The message was found to have been sent from nearby. The owner of the phone was detained, but he claimed the phone was stolen from him. Further investigations of the threat are underway. Liz Sherffius reports from Ecuador for teleSUR.
