The photos are blurry, but given that the exploratory craft was about 70 million miles away from its subjects, the lack of focus is understandable.
That distance also qualifies the shots as the closest up ones ever taken.
More photos are expected, and much crisper ones at that, as New Horizons continues it’s approach towards Pluto.
