Launch of SpaceX Falcon 9 with CRS-6 & 2nd Barge Landing for 1st Stage

A SpaceX Falcon 9 v1.1 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral today, April 14th 2015 at 20:10 UTC, 16:10 Local time carrying the Dragon CRS-6 capsule. The rocket, which was the 17th since Falcon 9 began flying in 2010 took just over 10 minutes to reach orbit with Dragon carrying 1,898 kg of cargo.

The first stage of the rocket performed a successful boost back burn and attempted to land on SpaceX's barge out in the Atlantic Ocean for what was the second time, this attempt failed with the rocket falling over after hitting the barge according to early reports. The first attempt also failed when the rocket ran out of hydraulic fluid for it's steering fins.
