Looks like Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is a bit of a coke head. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Hunter was discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine.
Hunter Biden, who is a lawyer by training, is currently a managing partner at an investment firm. He also sits on the board of a Ukrainian gas company.
To better serve his country, Hunter decided to do the Navy Reserve one weekend a month. He was able to make it one month as a commissioned ensign before he failed drug test last year and got the boot.
Hunter was commissioned as an ensign on May 7, 2013. According to the Navy, he was assigned to Navy Public Affairs Support Element East, a reserve unit. In June 2013, after reporting to his unit in Norfolk, he was drug tested and came up positive for cocaine and was discharged in February.
In a statement, Hunter said it was “the honor of my life to serve in the US Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge.”
