Have you heard the one about the senior citizen driving down the freeway?
So he’s driving along when he suddenly gets a call from his wife. Worried, she tells him to be careful because she’s heard on the news that there’s a maniac driver going the wrong way on Route 280.
“It’s not just one car,” he tells her. “It’s hundreds of ‘em!!!”
Well, here’s the latest example of life imitating art, this time in northeastern Taiwan.
Police attempted to flag down this driver on Monday, but he blew right past them, so they were forced to radio ahead and ask for another officer to stop the man.
The second squad car proved successful and the man was fined for reckless driving and also slapped with a DUI charge.
