Twenty-two year old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, whose dramatic kidnap from the streets of Philadelphia on Sunday night was caught on surveillance cameras, was found alive on Wednesday, ending a three-day nationwide manhunt.

The suspect, 37-year old Delven Barnes, seen here in a security camera image, was arrested and will be charged, according to police.

Authorities began to close in on Barnes after he was recorded using Freeland-Gaither's ATM card at 6 a.m. Monday in Aberdeen, Maryland.

The FBI located the suspect’s car in Maryland on Wednesday. Agents arrested Barnes as he left the vehicle and found Freeland-Gaither inside the vehicle.

She is recovering in hospital after suffering minor injuries.

Barnes reportedly has an outstanding warrant for attempted capital murder and assault with an acid injury or fire in Virginia, according to police.

Freeland-Gaither was abducted off the street on the 100 block of West Coulter Street shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Surveillance footage showed a man driving down a street and parking his car. He then walked a short distance out of the camera's view, before returning with his victim in his clutches.

The abduction sparked a nationwide appeal authorities and her family, with a reward of $45,000 offered.
