A top Czech model, known as the face of top fashion brands Prada and L’Oreal, has been found dead in her apartment.
26-year-old Katerina Netolicka was discovered by her brother in her apartment in the northeastern Czech town of Litvinov on Thursday after he became concerned for her welfare.
Reports said he found the model dead in her bathtub, with the bodies of her two dogs lying nearby.
Her boyfriend of five years, 29-year-old New York Rangers 2004 draft pick Jakub Petruzalek was reportedly in Russia, where he plays professionally, at the time of her death.
Netolicka, who began working as a model more than 10 years ago, was also a keen kick boxer and won the Czech national championships just last month.
The cause of death is so far unknown. Friends said that the model has a history of depression and self harm.
