A woman sprayed Mace on a man at an American Film Institute screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood Monday night. according to local media reports
The argument started over the use of a cellphone just minutes after the screening of “Mr. Turner”.
Witnesses said the man asked the woman to turn off the phone , but she ignored him. The man then tapped the woman on her shoulder, and that’s when she snapped.
The woman reportedly stood up and announced to the theatre that the man had hit her. She then pulled out Mace and sprayed the man in the face, then calmly sat down and continued to watch the film.
The man left the theatre and about 15 minutes later theatre security escorted the woman out of the theatre.
The victim is fine and no charges have been filed. as of yet.
