This 29 year old man, identified by his last name Yao, was so distraught after an argument with his family that he tried to jump off the roof of this building.
Yao was engaged to be married, but his parents didn't approve of his future wife. So taking a page from a daytime TV soap opera, Yao figured a good way to resolve his problem would be to take a jump off the nearest roof.
Thankfully, police and firefighters were able to talk the young man away from the edge after 4 hours. Yao was then strapped to a stretcher and taken to see a psychiatrist at the emergency services.
