I’m nominating Tucker Chapman for the personification of the Christmas spirit in 2014.
The teenager was shopping at a Target in Rochester Minnesota on Black Friday when he spotted a bank roll sitting on the floor. Of COURSE he stuck it in his pocket and kept it moving.
Not too long after, he walked past a man who was on the floor in the next aisle. The man explained he had just lost over $1000 in cash.
As Chapman explained later, he found it incredibly hard to hold on to the wad of cash at that point. He simply handed the money without any questions.
That wasn’t the only good samaritan story of the day from that particular store; a cashier found and returned a wedding ring and credit card to a customer as well.
