The Philippines have been rocked again by a massive superstorm.

Typhoon Hagupit, known there as Typhoon Ruby, is the planet’s most violent storm so far this year. The typhoon has already claimed at least 21 lives across the country and displaced more than a million people.

The government has ordered schools closed and the country’s stock exchange to suspend trading. Hundreds of thousands took cover in emergency shelters.

The air force food has already begin delivering aid and food packs, but many affected people and say they’re not getting adequate help.

The power and impact of this storm has paled next to last year’s Typhoon Haiyan, which killed as many as 7,000 people across the country.
