AFC and NFC Championship mashup: Brady crushes Luck, Wilson pulls off OT comeback

After having dropped Peyton Manning off at the retirement home, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts traveled to Foxborough minus running back Trent Richardson to face Tom Brady and the Patriots for the AFC Championship at Gillette Stadium on Sunday night.

Luck was a touchdown machine, leading the NFL with 40 of them this year. But when it comes to the New England Patriots, Luck once again had absolutely no luck against Brady, who surpassed Manning to become the all-time leading NFL postseason passer.

The Patriots completely destroyed the Colts, winning 45-7 behind Brady’s three touchdowns. One of biggest was to big man Nate Solder, while LeGarrette Blount racked up 147 yards on the ground and three TDs. NFL comeback player of the year Rob Gronkowski also had a nice touchdown grab.

In the NFC Championship, the outplayed Seahawks staged an unbelievable 28-22 comeback win against the Packers. Wilson was coughing the ball up all night with four interceptions, but came through in OT connecting with Jermaine Kearse for the winning TD.

Brady and the Patriots will now face Richard Sherman and the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. Rumor has it Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch has a new TD celebration all good to go.
