Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro has announced plans to limit the number of US diplomats working the country.
President Maduro said he wanted a review and reduction of American diplomatic staff during a rally on Saturday.
Maduro said that American intervention has forced him to adopt the new measures.
President Maduro said the US government has over 100 diplomats in Venezuela, while Venezuela only has 17 government workers in the U.S.
Maduro also added that Venezuela would be charging U.S. citizens the same rate for visas as those levied on Venezuelans hoping to visit the U.S.

The Venezuelan president also said they would prohibit certain U.S. officials from entering the country. The list included George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Bob Menendez and Marco Rubio.
Earlier this month, the U.S. imposed visa restrictions on unnamed Venezuelan officials it accused of human rights violations and corruption.
