After stealing a vehicle, a California man decided to camouflage himself to hide from authorities by spray-painting his face black Saturday evening near Fresno.
Madera County police say a suspect tried to hide from them by spray-painting his face, in an effort to camouflage himself.
Jose Espinoza, 23, ran from a stolen car Saturday evening. They arrested him later that night after he tried to get away a second time.
“The camouflage was ineffective,” Madera County police wrote on the department’s Facebook page.
Espinoza was arrested and taken to county and booked on charges of receiving known stolen property, theft, and unlawful taking of driving of a vehicle.
