Just like in the wild, these lions are battling for control over territory and access to the females at the Taigan Safari Park in Sevastopol. The lions were cooped up in cages during the winter months and, since the weather is now warm enough, they’ve been released back to the wide expanse of the 50 acre park to test their strength against the other lions.
