Un juego pirotécnico golpeo a una chica en la garganta matándola durante el Año Nuevo Lunar, tragedia ocurrida en la ciudad de Taitung, Taiwán.
La niña de 7 años, de apellido Yang, estaba jugando cohetillos con la familia durante las vacaciones del Año Nuevo Lunar. Un cohetillo fue colocado en una botella de cerveza y se suponía que volaría directamente al cielo. Sin embargo, de algún modo la botella se volteo y el cohetillo fue directamente hacia la chica.
La cubierta plástica del cohetillo atravesó la garganta de la chica como un cuchillo, causando una herida de 7.5 centímetros en su cuello. Cortándole además la tráquea y la carótida haciendo brotar sangre de la herida. La sangre le bloqueo la nariz y la garganta, causándole la muerte por ahogarse con su propia sangre.
La policía está acusando al tío de Yang por homicidio involuntario. Ellos le solicitan al gobierno que endurezca las leyes sobre la venta de juegos pirotécnicos.
