Ahead of the 7th Summit of the Americas, to begin today in Panama, progress was registered in relations between the United States and Cuba. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and US Secretary of State John Kerry met Thursday on the sidelines of the parallel forum to the Summit. It was the highest level meeting between the two countries in more than five decades.
