Mumbai: The Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde informed that in a meeting of Multiplex owners and Marathi Film Producers with the state government, it was decided that when the films are released, the parties involved will decide the showcase time. The Maharashtra government made it mandatory for multiplexes in the state to screen at least one Marathi film during the prime-time slot, a move that drew mixed reactions from the film industry.
