With only two days to go before the OAS Summit of the America's Washington seems to be making some overtures to ease tensions with Venezuela. In the last few hours State Department representative Thomas Shannon met with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez. Earlier senior White House advisor Ben Rhodes backtracked on President Obama executive degree and admitted that Washington does not believe that Venezuela poses a threat to its national security.
