As the Summit of the Americas draws near, Cuba has denounced the inclusion of known mercenaries paid by the United States to slander the Cuban government, charging that some of the groups invited are linked to publicly recognized terrorist groups. Meanwhile, President Barack Obama says he will remove Cuba from the list of state-sponsored terrorism if advised to do so by the State Department. Although no formal meeting is scheduled at the Summit, it is expected that the presidents of the two nations will have a brief symbolic meeting. teleSUR
