A Mexican police officer has been suspended and could face up to nine years behind bars for machine gunning a crocodile to death on film.
The reputation of Mexican cops has taken a beating following reports officer allowed student protesters to be murdered and covered up evidence plus nearly daily report of collusion with drug cartels. This video does little to improve that reputation.
Two macho macho men with badges are seen arriving at a water treatment center after locals snagged a crocodile in a net. Then, they machine gunned this protected species to death as onlookers cheered.
