A video of a physics experiment at a Portland high school shows a nervous teacher slipping at just the wrong moment and slamming the blunt side of an axe into his co-workers groin.
Initial posts indicated the wounded assistant was a student, but additional videos show a teacher grimacing in pain after removing his protective mask.
The failed experiment reportedly took place at a Portland high school, where teachers had performed the trick many times in the past.
But according to a Reddit user claiming to be a student at the school, this was the first time that particular teacher had tried the experiment.
In a video posted to Youtube, the teacher waits just a moment before taking another swing and shattering part of the cinder block.
He reportedly got to keep his job.
