how is going to your oppressor and asking them why they are oppressing you going to free you? you can adapt to whatever situations all you want, in order to just survive (and not be noticed); strategically, that is going to weaken you. lobbying doesn't work for people who are systemically oppressed, because all you are doing is asking for a seat at the table of the very system which is oppressing you. why does washington have the expectation that capitalism/materialism is the solution to our problems? he mentions 'getting free', but not once does he mention 'organization'. is he taking his three priuses and using them to organize our people?
