Mexico: Activists Use Social Networks to Promote Causes

Internet activism is on the rise in Mexico. In the recent protests around the case of the disappeared Ayotzinapa students and other causes, the social media played an important role. Of the 51 million Mexicans with Internet access, 98% use the social networks, on average, nine hours a day. This is the highest figure in the world. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
