Police in Queensland, Australia are investigating a disturbing case following the discovery of a mass dog grave. At least 55 greyhounds had been disposed of. The carcasses were found in bushland near the city of Bundaberg.
Cartridge shells from a .22 caliber weapon were located at the scene. Some of the deceased dogs looked like they sustained gunshot wounds.
The stages of decomposition varied, which implies they had died at different times. A member from the public alerted police of the site.
