Former Brazilian President and Workers' Party leader Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva joined marchers in Sao Paulo in support of the state-run oil company Petro-Bras. The protest comes in the wake of heightened right-wing activity against President Dilma Rousseff. It also coincides with the 51st anniversary of the U.S. backed military coup in Brasil on March 30, 1964, which brought in a military dictatorship aligned with Washington. teleSUR
