Detroit Red Wings forward Drew Miller was left with a nasty gash across his face after getting hit in the face by a skate. The horrifying incident occurred in the first period of Detroit's 2-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. As Miller and Ottawa forward Mark Stone battled for a puck following a faceoff, Stone lost his balance and fell to the ice. As he was falling his skate caught Miller’s face.
