The US' most well known political prisoner, imprisoned journalist and former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal has been moved to an Intensive Care Unit, Pennsylvania, after he was removed from prison for a medical emergency without any notification to his family, friends or lawyers. Mumia is serving a life sentence, commuted from the death penalty, for allegedly killing a police officer, a charge the African-American activist vigorously denies. teleSUR
