The Denver Zoo recently became home to a new southern tamandua. The male baby was born on March 12th and shortly thereafter he was given the name of Salvador.

He is the second tamandua that has been born at the zoo. Tamanduas are related to anteaters, only they're much smaller than giant anteaters.
