Colombian labor unions weigh in favor of peace process

The United Workers Confederation, Colombia's largest trade union federation, held a forum in Bogota to discuss and support the peace process. Since 1986, an estimated 3,000 trade unionists have been assassinated. The forum discussed the opportunities that peace will provide to the country's labor movement in terms of trade union organizing and pressing for workers' rights and demands.
